Starting a startup is *hard. But what worth doing isn't hard?
And if that thing that you decide to do is easy, and you are done quickly, who truly cares?
I'm sure you don't even care that much.
Imagine you lose your keys. And you start the search process. If you found it in the bathroom by the sink after 30 seconds of looking. Are you excited? No.
I once went fishing with a friend in the lakes of Saskatchewan. I somehow dropped the rod into the lake. And I came back super embarrassed.
Ben's brother was watching over the ENTIRE lake and island. He was like: "shayan that was a nice rod."
And its not like they would've actually been mad or anything. Really good people. But either way I wasn't having it. So i asked if he had goggles. We went back together, and I dove, and dove, and dove. Eventually. I spotted the rod.
After my 18th attempt, I got it.
It felt good man. It really did.
The problem is, sometimes, dreams take so long to chase down. To finally dig to the depths of the lake. That when you get up, nobody's left to be excited with you. Some dreams take so damn long, that when you're finally done, the whole crew's changed!
But whatever. We win to win.
