This blog is first and foremost… well first. I’m the Greatest living Philosopher currently. Why? There are maybe others that have more great thoughts than I do. Maybe! There are others that have studied more than I have. Doubt it!
But I am the best, simply by:
the novelty of my approach
the novelty of my ideas
and the usefulness of my ideas
Now all things are simply a summation of ideas. Anything worth doing, has not been done before. If it has been done before, in the exact same configuration, then just do what they did! But no, you are more likely looking for a new approach… Summing up useful ideas, can lead you to a better understanding of `approach or process` that will lead to the desired outcome.
You follow this gym routine, you will be jacked. But wait a second… a good gym routine isn’t just a gym routine. Wait what!!? Well because you are involved. We need to get you to follow it! Without that. You won’t get the result.
So let’s get into it then, On Motivation and its exact definition.
All human excitement is through Change.
If something was Good (not harmful) 5 minutes ago, and it has not changed
Then it is therefore not harmful now.
Simply put, we are looking for change in the environment, both external and internal.
So then what is motivation?
Motivation is the highest slope of Change that occurs. The slope of change, either in excitement, brain chemistry, is not the absolute change. Not the muscles growing. Not the bones getting denser. Not the mind being sharper. No none of that. It is the slope of change. The acceleration. That is what we feel.
So then what is motivation?
The exact moment (almost always at the point of decision), when we *feel the largest change in our mind. That moment is at the beginning of the Path or Process. When we decide to change. That decision to change, produces the Greatest Change we will ever feel in the process of Change.
Which is why everybody gives up.
That first moment has the most heightened feelings. Since it has the greatest SLOPE of Change. From being a Fat Loser sitting on your couch. To “I’m gonna be the Greatest!”
That moment is the single most Accelerant moment of Change in Mind. At the beginning…
So why are most people poor then? How does the Slope of Change explain why most people live such mundane dull lives? That’s part 2.
