I was at the pool today
And in the steam room i met this 21 year old
He was quite testy but an interesting chap
Whod run a 72km race
I asked him a simple question of definition…
“What makes a race an ultramarathon?”
‘Anything over 42 he answered stoically’
What the hell is wrong with this kid i thought.
I told him about my theory of Increasing Quality of Life through Entrepreneurship Growth Rates
And he probably thought “what the hell is wrong with this guy?”
I went outside and sat on one of the chairs to cool down and chill my blood pressure.
On days like this i almost faint from working so hard.
I never have because i have too much coueage and awareness.
So im sitting there and he joins me on the bench next to mine. There were only two so i didnt mind.
Im sitting there and i see a cute lifeguard so i start chatting with her.
“Whats one thing a good swimmer should know? - i answered my question in my mind as “breathe”” being the answer
She said “control your breathe.”
I couldnt pay attention anymore cause my blood pressure had dropped so low today from being such a winning hard working honest person.
So i lost track and thought gosh shes pretty.
Then this guy came up a different ligeguard. The Turk.
I called to him and said “whats up man?”
He said hi back we had talked months ago i remembered the conversation in my mind like it happened 30 seconds ago. So vivid are my memories…
I looked to my side and the 21 year old guy was grinning.
“Around these parts they call me the Don” i said.
Tonight i realized that people will call me the Don soon everywhere.
